Our unique arched cabins are the perfect home base for your mountain getaway. Each cabin features a personal hot tub on a private deck, giving you a quiet place to relax with a view of the mountains.
·Hiking Our Private Trails – Wander along wooded mountain paths and soak in the crisp mountain air. We have constructed trails on site that offer an opportunity to get a little exercise and enjoy some incredible scenic views from the top of the mountain without ever getting in your car.
·Pond, Creek & Gardens: Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the new walking path that meanders around our beautiful pond. Cross the arched bridge over the creek and discover a new perspective on the water. The path is lined with native plants and beautiful flower gardens, offering a peaceful and scenic walk at any time of day.
·Star-Gazing: Our location, nestled in the mountains, offers a truly spectacular view of the night sky, far away from city lights. Grab a blanket and find a comfortable spot near the pond or on the walking path. On a clear night, the Milky Way is often visible, and the number of stars you can see is breathtaking. For a truly professional star-gazing experience, consider a trip to the Bare Dark Sky Observatory (details below).
·Fireside Relaxation: Gather with family and friends around the stone fire pit. Whether you're roasting marshmallows or simply enjoying the warmth and crackle of the fire, it's the perfect way to unwind after a day of mountain adventures.

Hiking Trails & Scenic Views
·Roan Mountain Highlands: Straddling the NC/TN border, this area is a must-visit. Hike along the Appalachian Trail at Carver's Gap and explore the famous "grassy balds" of Round Bald and Jane Bald for incredible 360-degree panoramic views.
·Mount Mitchell State Park: Home to the highest peak east of the Mississippi River. The summit features a paved path to an observation deck for breathtaking views. More challenging trails, such as the Black Mountain Crest Trail, are also available.
·The Blue Ridge Parkway: Take a scenic drive and stop at overlooks like Wiseman's View, which offers a stunning vista of the Linville River Gorge and is a premier spot for viewing the mysterious "Brown Mountain Lights."
Waterfall Trails
·Roaring Fork Creek Falls: A short and easy 0.6-mile hike to a beautiful cascade waterfall near the base of Mount Mitchell. It's an excellent option for a quick and rewarding outdoor experience.
·Setrock Creek Falls: Located just a few miles from Roaring Fork, this is another accessible and beautiful waterfall trail that can easily be combined with a trip to Roaring Fork Falls.
·Crabtree Falls: A little further down the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is one of the most photographed waterfalls in the region. The hike is a moderate 2.5-mile loop.
